One thing that we will still buy in packet form is Beef Stroganoff. My partner loves it. I have been trying to find a Stroganoff recipe he would like to replace it so I could stop purchasing it but had no luck. I had given up.
I can thank my dearest friend Candice for this recipe. I remembered having this years ago and loving it so decided to experiment a bit and do it tmx style. Mine does vary ever so slightly just to add onion, garlic and paprika as we love those flavours here.
This recipe is mushroom-less as no one in this house is mushroom fans. You can certainly add sliced mushrooms or champignons to the mix when adding the sauce ingredients. My friend LOVES mushrooms so she adds lots to her Stroganoff.
Non tmx instructions are provided below. We can’t have you missing out.

Just made this for dinner tonight. So easy, so yummo and the whole family enjoyed it!!! Thank you
Thank you! I just made this for dinner tonight. I added a grated zucchini to the meat, just for some more veg. I didnt put as much pepper as we dont like to much. The whole family loved it and was asking for more!!
Woohoo a beef strog with no mushrooms, just what the family wanted 🙂 Thanks for the awesome recipe
You don’t need to consider this recipe. You just need to DO IT!
Go. Run. Quick.
Get to your machine. So easy and OH MY GOD the flavour.
Drool.
Everyone in my family scoffed this meal down! So quick and easy too! Will be a staple in our house 🙂
Was very nice. The youngest said it was too “spicy” so next time will halve the pepper. We served it with pasta because the kids don’t like mash so added cornflour to thicken the sauce a bit.
This was a winner with my family (including my fussy 6 year old). I added half a red capsicum half way through onion cooking and some mushrooms toward the end to bump up the veg content. Was delicious.
Very quick, very easy, very tasty. Great meal when you don’t feel like cooking. Easier to make this than call take away!!
I only had smoked paprika and it was fine.
Thanks a lot – huge winner with hubby & toddler. So easy and extremely tasty!!
Thank you! Quick and so so easy. Family loved it. I cut down on the paprika and used beef cubes. Worked really well.
Yay! SO glad you liked it!
A regular favourite in this household. Always a hit. Thanks for such a great tasting and easy recipe.
