My kiddies love chicken and these Honey Soy Drumsticks are a firm favourite. These make such an easy dinner teamed with either salad or steamed vegetables.

I have given cooking instructions for the oven, steaming attachment and an airfryer.

Honey Soy Drumsticks

Ingredients
  1. 12 chicken drumsticks
Sauce
  1. 3 Tbsp honey
  2. 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  3. 1 spring onion
  4. 2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
  5. Pinch of pepper, optional
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients into a large bowl and mix well.
  2. Allow to sit for an hour.
  3. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  4. Place drumsticks in a large casserole.
  5. Bake for 40-60 minutes, turning often, or until chicken has cooked through.

Ingredients
  1. 12 chicken drumsticks
Sauce
  1. 3 Tbsp honey
  2. 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  3. 1 spring onion
  4. 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  5. Pinch of pepper, optional
Instructions
  1. Place spring onion and garlic in bowl.
  2. Blitz on speed 7 for 5 seconds and scrape down bowl.
  3. Add remaining sauce ingredients.
  4. Blitz on speed 5 to combine.
  5. Pour over chicken and marinate for 1 hours+ if possible.
To cook
  1. Cook in oven on 180 degrees for 60 minutes, turning often, or until chicken is cooked through.
  2. Cook in airfryer on 200 degrees for 40 minutes, turning often, or until chicken is cooked through.
  3. Cook in steaming attachment for 60 minutes on steaming temperature, speed 3 (See your machines user manual for correct steaming speeds as machines differ). Then cook for 15 minutes in a 200 degree oven to crisp up.
  4. Serve with salad or steamed vegetables.
