These are the highlight of my day. I’m so impressed with these. My partner said they were yummy. Yummy!?!? They are better than yummy Mr!!! My 3 year old and I had a ball creating this recipe!

This makes 20 balls. I won’t say how many are left…

Mars Bar Balls

  • Author: The road to loving my Thermo Mixer
  • Total Time: 10
  • Yield: 20 1x

Description

A massive hit that went viral in just a few hours. Perfect for gift giving.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 250g shortbread biscuits, broken up
  • 20g cocoa powder
  • 200220g sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 fun size mars bars, cut into four pieces each
  • Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Place biscuits into tmx bowl. Blitz on speed 7 until desired consistency. These can be as fine or coarse as you like.
  2. Add cocoa and blitz on speed 5 for 6 seconds.
  3. Add condensed milk and blitz on speed 4 until a dough forms.
  4. I was able to roll straight away but if you find the shapes collapse slightly, refrigerate it for 30 mins or so. If its too dry add a little more sweetened condensed milk.
  5. Get a small piece of “dough”, flatten slightly and place a cube of mars bar in the middle and mould the dough around it. Roll into a smooth ball shape and roll into sprinkles.
  6. I keep mine in the fridge.

You can also put a marshmallow in the middle & roll them in coconit.

I have made these a few times now and WOW!! I sent them with my husband to work and his workmates couldn’t work out how the caramel got on the inside. There weren’t any left overs.
