I stumbled across this recipe (link below) and thought I’d try it out as my hunt continues for a muesli bar that the kiddies will eat.

I followed this recipe but made a few changes. I didn’t put nuts in it so it could be school friendly and popped in the lunch box. I just put in extra pumpkin seeds and 40g flaxseed meal to replace the nuts.

Next time I will make them a bit flatter to look more like store bought muesli bars as it’s easier to eat and chew.

The kiddies actually really like these. I might tweak a bit as the binding ingredient is sweetened condensed milk so will look for a bit healthier option.

    I’ve tried so many recipes and haven’t found one that actually sticks together. Tried all those listed here, but none will stay in one piece.
