What is it!?
Its a vegetable noodle maker!!! This is great for sneaking vegetables into your kiddies, those wanting to reduce carbs or those with gluten intolerance’s and allergies.

You simply make your noodles (see below) and serve either as is or gently steam for a minute or two.

Use them:

  • As stiry fry noodles
  • Along with spaghetti or pasta sauce
  • In rice paper rolls or spring rolls
  • In salads
  • As a garnish
  • In quiches and fritters
  • As a side
  • On sandwiches
  • In fried rices
  • On its own with a little dressing or seasoning

The offer
All Things For Kids are offering the Zoodle Cutter for a discount cost of $30 INCLUDING POSTAGE! For $30 I well worth it if I can sneak a few extra vegetables into the kiddies. It works well and suits my needs. If I was buying one to use all day, every day I would invest in a bigger, more involved version. This is a great compact version.

My kiddies love the slinky apple maker so I know this will be a hit with them too especially with carrot as we have it almost every night.

All you need to do is head to the All Things For Kids page, send her a message or email to allthingskidsau@gmail.com and say “Roadies love to Zoodle” to take advantage of this offer.

Using it
It really is as simple as holding the sides, placing the zucchini or carrot into the open end and twisting. I was surprised how easy it was first go but it is definitely something you get better at the more you use it. By my second full carrot I was a pro!

You will get some items wedged in the funnel section. This didn’t affect using it but I preferred just to poke through any bits in the way to ensure there is nice even noodles.

There is a little bit of “wastage” however I just used it in with the zoodles and you barely noticed. You could add it to the sauce if using one too or just nibble on it whilst cooking! Better than chips and snacks! Haha.

This was the leftovers from three carrots and a large zucchini to give you an idea.

Edited: There is a little bit of the top of the vegetable left over that cant be zoodled. I just eat it or chop by hand.

Cleaning
I ran it under hot water and used my tmx brush. It was very easy to clean. I recommend hand washing and air drying. I wouldnt put this in the dishwasher personally.

Overall I was quite pleased with this. It’s basic and straight forward and that’s all I need at this stage.

Please note: this is not a GEFU Spirolli Cutter.
