Ingredients

- 500–600g pasta of choice, cooked according to packet
- 800g tinned whole tomatoes
- 1 large onion, peeled and quartered
- 3 garlic cloves, peeled
- 5 shortcut rashers of bacon, diced
- 1 small mild chilli
- 10g oil
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Place tomatoes into bowl.
- Blitz on speed 8 for 10 seconds. Place into a bowl and set aside.
- Place onion, chilli and garlic into bowl.
- Blitz on speed 7 for 5 seconds. Scrape down.
- Add oil and bacon.
- Cook for 5 minutes, speed 2 at 100 degrees.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Cook for 15 minutes, speed 2 at 100 degrees.
- Stir sauce through cooked and drained pasta.
- Serve.
Notes
- You can use pancettaor salami for this recipe.
- For a more cost effective option you can use jarred crushed garlic and dried chilli flakes in this recipe.
