- 100g butter
- 2 Tbsp golden syrup
- 95g rolled oats
- 90g desiccated coconut
- 160g plain flour
- 60g brown sugar
- 70g sugar
- 2 Tbsp boiling water
- 1 tsp bicarb soda
Instructions
Then mix like this
- Preheat oven to 180C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Place butter and golden syrup into bowl. 9 minutes / 100C / Speed 2.
- Add remaining ingredients into a big bowl. Pour over hot liquid. Carefully combine.
- Place a tablespoon of mixture into the tray. Flatten slightly.
- Repeat for all mixture. Ensure you leave space between each biscuit as they will expand.
- Bake for 16-20 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before cooking in a wire rack.
Or cook like this

- Remove from heat and add bi carb soda. Mix well.
- Add remaining ingredients into a big bowl. Pour over hot liquid. Carefully combine.
- Place a tablespoon of mixture into the tray. Flatten slightly.
- Repeat for all mixture. Ensure you leave space between each biscuit as they will expand.
- Bake for 16-20 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before cooking in a wire rack.
