- 2 large apples, cored and quartered
- 120g butter, cubed
- 90g brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 180g self raising flour
- 120g oats
- 1 egg
Instructions
Then mix it this way
- Preheat oven to 180C. Line a slice tin with baking paper.
- Place apples into the bowl. Speed 7 / 2 seconds. Remove and set aside.
- Add butter, sugar and vanilla to bowl.
- 4 minutes / 80C / Speed 2.
- Add apples, cinnamon, self raising flour, oats and egg to bowl.
- Reverse+Speed 4 / 5 seconds.
- Pour batter into prepared tin.
- Cook for 30 minutes or until cooked through.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting.
Or cook like this
- Preheat oven to 180C. Line a slice tin with baking paper.
- Grate apples into a large mixing bowl.
- Add butter, sugar and vanilla to a small saucepan. Melt over medium heat until butter has melted and sugar has mostly dissolved.
- Add to apples along with cinnamon, self raising flour, oats and egg to bowl.
- Mix to combine well.
- Pour batter into prepared tin.
- Cook for 30 minutes or until cooked through.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting.
