- 120g carrot, roughly chopped
- 130g butter, melted
- 250g self raising flour
- 70g sugar, or less if preferred
- 160g milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp Vanilla bean paste
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
Instructions
Then mix like this
- Turn on donut machine to warm or preheat oven to 180C.
- Add carrot to bowl. Speed 7 / 4 seconds. Scrape down the sides of bowl. Remove any large chunks.
- Add remaining ingredients to bowl. Speed 4 / 20 seconds.
- Place mixture into a large piping bag.
- Pipe mixture into the donut machine or into a donut tin. This is much easier than spooning in.
- The machine takes 5-8 minutes to cook but an oven would be around 15 -18 minutes. This depends on the size of the machine or tin of course.
- Allow to cool on a wire rack.

- Add remaining ingredients to bowl. Mix well to combine.
- Place mixture into a large piping bag.
