Description
An easy sugar free, no cook jam. This makes one small jar to last the week.
Ingredients
Scale
- 100g dried pitted dates
- 100g boiling water
- A sprinkle of cinnamon or half a teaspoon of vanilla beans, optional
Instructions
- Place dates into a bowl with the water.
- Allow to sit for an hour or until softened.
- Place into tmx or food processor, along with the vanilla or cinnamon if using them, and blitz on speed 9/high speed for 10 seconds. Scrape down the sides.
- I repeat this process 5 times to get a smooth paste. There will be some slight chunks in it like most jams.
- Process until you get the desired consistency you are after.
- Place into a small jar or container and keep in the fridge for a week.
