  • Author: TRTLMT
  • Total Time: 30

Ingredients

Scale
  • 130g melted butter
  • 250g self raising flour
  • 1 large ripe banana, cut into chunks
  • 70g sugar
  • 160g milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • pinch of cinnamon

Vanilla glaze

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of icing sugar, sifted
  • 3 Tbsp water, may need more

Instructions

Then mix like this

  1. Place butter into bowl. Melt 3 minutes / 70C / Speed 2.
  2. Add remaining ingredients. Speed 4 / 30 seconds or until well combined.
  3. Place mixture into a large piping bag. Pipe mixture into the machine or tin. I find this much easier than spooning in.
  4. The machine takes 5-8 minutes to cook. if cooking in an oven it will be approximately 15 -18 minutes at 180 degrees. This depends on the size of the tin of course.
  5. Combine the glaze ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until smooth. You want to consistency of pancake batter. You want it to run off the donut but leaving a nice coating behind.
  6. Dip the donut into the glaze to coat all sides.
  7. Place onto a wire rack and allow the glaze to set.
