Healthy Choc Pops – TMX Method

Description

Why buy when you can make a healthy version at home with a handful of ingredients! Makes approximately 420g.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 410g rice bubbles, or puffed rice
  • 3 Tbsp cacao powder, or to taste
  • 4 Tbsp maple syrup or honey, or to taste
  • 4 Tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Line two large baking dishes with baking paper.
  2. Place maple syrup and coconut oil into bowl.
  3. 2 minutes / 80C / Speed 2.
  4. Add cacao.
  5. Speed 2 /30 second until combined and smooth.
  6. Pour mixture into a big bowl.
  7. Add rice bubbles. Stir to combine well.
  8. Spread mixture over the two large baking trays.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring often to dry the choc pops. Be sure not to burn them.
  10. Allow to cool. Break up clumps and store in an airtight container in the pantry.
