This delicious recipe for Mini Chocolate Balls was originally featured in my 2016 Calendar. They have been so popular I thought I would add them to the blog for everyone to enjoy.

These only use a handful of ingredients and take no time at all to whip up.

Mini Chocolate Balls

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g dried pitted dates (or dried fruit of choice)
  • 150g almonds (or any nuts or seeds of choice)
  • 1.5 Tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp honey or rice malt syrup

Instructions

Then mix like this

  1. Place all of the ingredients into bowl. Process on Speed 9 until a dough forms. This will take about a minute. The longer you process the more dough like the mixture will become. If your mixture isn’t moist enough add an extra couple of dates or a few drops of water to help bring it together.
  2. Remove mixture from bowl with a spatula and roll into mini balls. You can roll these in some extra cacao or coconut if desired.
  3. Store in an airtight jar and into the fridge. These will keep for approximately 2 weeks.

  1. Place all of the ingredients into a food processor. Process on high until a dough forms. This will take about a minute. The longer you process the more dough like the mixture will become.   2. Remove mixture from bowl with a spatula and roll into mini balls. You can roll these in some extra cacao or coconut if desired.
  3. Store in an airtight jar and into the fridge. These will keep for approximately 2 weeks.
