Makes 35-40 mini donut balls

Donuts
- 130g butter, cubed
- 250g self raising flour
- 70g sugar, or less if preferred
- 160g milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla bean paste
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 30g melted butter extra, set aside
Cinnamon sugar
- 50g sugar
- 3 tsp ground cinnamon, or to taste
Instructions
- Turn your cake pop machine on. Allow it to warm up.
- Place 130g of butter into mixer bowl. 4 minutes / 50C / Speed 2.
- Add donut remaining ingredients.
- Blitz on speed 4 for 30 seconds until well combined. Scrape down and blitz again briefly if needed.
- Place batter into a zip lock bag or piping bag.
- Pipe mixture into the machine. Only fill to the top of the hole.
- To make the cinnamon sugar, combine the cinnamon and sugar in a bowl. Mix well.
- Once donuts are cooked lightly brush each one with butter and roll in the cinnamon sugar.

But I don’t have a Thermo Mixer

- Place butter into a large bowl and microwave for 45 seconds or until melted.
- Add remaining donut ingredients.
- Blitz on speed 4 for 30 seconds until well combined. Scrape down and blitz again briefly if needed.
- Place batter into a zip lock bag or piping bag.
- Pipe mixture into the machine. Only fill to the top of the hole.
- To make the cinnamon sugar, combine the cinnamon and sugar in a bowl. Mix well.
