This is my take on Tahini using sesame seeds and coconut oil. It gives it a lovely nutty taste.
This will be turned into something for the lunchbox. Stay tuned!
Tahini
Ingredients

- 100g sesame seeds
- 30g coconut oil
Instructions
- Toast sesame seeds on steaming temperature, speed 1 for 10 minutes.
- Every two minutes I turned the dial up to 5 for 5 seconds and then back down just to make sure they were really mixed through.
- Blitz on speed 10 for 20 seconds.
- Scrape down.
- Repeat. Scrape down.
- Repeat. Scrape down.
- You want a nice fine powder.
- Add coconut oil and blitz on speed 9 for 1 minute. Scraping down every 20-25 seconds to ensure everything is mixed through.
- You can add more or less coconut oil depending on the texture you prefer. I used 30g.
- Store in an airtight jar in the fridge.
