Creamy Ham and Spinach Pasta – TMX version

Description

A quick and easy weeknight meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 400g dry pasta
  • 1/2 onion, peeled and halved
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled
  • 30g spinach leaves
  • 10g oil
  • 100g ham, diced
  • 300mls cream
  • 30g parmesan cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Herbamare or salt
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to packet directions. Drain, pour into insulated server and set aside.
  2. Place cheese into bowl. Blitz on speed 8 until fine. Set aside.
  3. Place onion, garlic and spinach into bowl.
  4. Blitz on speed 7 for 4 seconds. Scrape down.
  5. Add oil. Cook at 100 degrees, speed 2 for 4 minutes.
  6. Add remaining ingredients except pasta.
  7. Cook 100 degrees, reverse, speed 1 for 10 minutes.
  8. Add cheese.
  9. Cook 100 degrees, reverse, speed 1 for 1 minute.
  10. Pour sauce over pasta and stir through.
  11. Allow to sit for a few minutes to thicken. The longer it sits the thicker it will get.
  12. Serve with a little extra parmesan over the top.
