Creamy Ham and Spinach Pasta

Ingredients

Scale
  • 400g dry pasta
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 30g spinach leaves, sliced
  • 10g oil
  • 100g ham, diced
  • 300mls cream
  • 30g grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Herbamare or salt
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to packet directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Place onion, garlic and spinach into a frying pan along with the oil.
  3. Cook over a medium heat until translucent.
  4. Add remaining ingredients except pasta.
  5. Cook over medium heat until slightly thickened. Approximately 10 minutes.
  6. Add cheese.
  7. Stir until melted.
  8. Pour sauce over pasta and stir through.
  9. Allow to sit for a few minutes to thicken. The longer it sits the thicker it will get.
