- 8 sausages
- 500g potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 onion, peeled
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1 carrot, roughly chopped
- 2 stalks of celery, roughly chopped
- Oil
- 400g cannellini beans rinsed and drained
- 400g tinned dice tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon worstershire sauce
- 100mls beef stock
- A few sprigs of parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place potatoes into steaming basket and put into place.
- Pour over 900mls water. Add sausages to the steaming attachment tray in a criss-cross pattern to allow air through.
- Cook at steaming temperature, speed 4 for 22 minutes.
- Remove steaming attachment and steaming basket from bowl. Set aside.
- Add onion and garlic to bowl.
- Blitz on speed 7 for 5 seconds.
- Add a drizzle of oil.
- Cook at steaming temperature, speed 2 for 2 minutes.
- Add celery and carrot.
- Blitz on speed 7 for 5 seconds. Scrape down. Repeat.
- Add tomatoes, sauce, stock, parsley and seasoning.
- Cook at 100 degrees, speed 2 for 7 minutes.
- Meanwhile peel and slice your cooked sausages into 1-2 cm pieces.
- Add butterfly and add sliced sausages and beans.
- Cook at 100 degrees, reverse, speed 1 for 5 minutes.
- Mash your potatoes using a potato masher or preferred method.
- Serve sausage casserole alongside potato.
