Gather these
- 3 very ripe bananas
- 155g self raising flour
- 80g sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp golden syrup or honey
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
- pinch of salt
Instructions
Then mix like this
- Preheat oven to 160C. Line a loaf tin with baking paper.
- Place bananas and syrup into bowl. Speed 4 / 5 seconds.
- Place remaining ingredients into bowl. Speed 3 / 10 seconds. Scrape down. Repeat.
- Pour into a lined loaf tin.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until cooked through. You may need a little longer in the oven as all ovens heat and cook differently.
- After 15 minutes remove banana bread from tin and place on wire rack to cool.
Or cook like this

- Place remaining ingredients into bowl. Mix with a wooden spoon until combined.
- Pour into a lined loaf tin.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until cooked through. You may need a little longer in the oven as all ovens heat and cook differently.
- After 15 minutes remove banana bread from tin and place on wire rack to cool.
