10 Second Coconut Bread

Well it doesn't get much easier than this! Whilst it takes longer than 10 seconds to cook, the preparation time is quick! This is a nice soft coconut bread perfect for morning or afternoon tea when guests are popping over and you need something in a rush. I have topped it with a little lemon icing however you can serve it as is or change it up and add some lime icing and sprinkle with shredded coconut. You can freeze this too so it makes a great addition to the lunchbox or to have in the freezer and simply thaw before guests arrive.      [...]

Lazy Caramel Slice

Words can not describe how tasty this slice is. I'm embarrassed to admit I have made it 3 times already in less than two weeks. Its what I call a lazy caramel slice. Its has all the taste of a caramel slice but so much easier and quicker. I'm not a bossy person but you must try this slice! Try some warm out of the oven or cold from the fridge. Either way it will knock your socks off! (Can you tell I love it?!). It is meant to be a soft almost melt in your mouth base and slightly gooey topping. It wont be a super firm and crunchy [...]

Fruit Filled Cereal Bars

Success! This recipe has taken me over 6 months to perfect. I have finally mastered the texture that I was hoping to create and something the kiddies devour. A lot of work have gone in to these. I really wanted a bar that was similar to store bought ones. A lot of the recipes I had tried all were a crunchy or powdery biscuit outer and very fiddly to make due to the temperamental pastry. This is a nice soft biscuit, almost muffin like outer with a fruity filling exactly like store bought bars. There will be honey taste to these due to the pastry. You can vary the [...]

Muesli Bites

Join us   These Muesli Bites are delicious and the perfect bite size snack for adults or kiddies. I am absolutely in love with these at the moment and would go as far as to say they are now one of my most favourite recipes. My kiddies adore these. They are great to have to snack on, to pop into the lunchbox or to take along to your next get together as they are nut and egg free. I have used Caramaleised Buckinis (click link to be taken to find out more about these and where to purchase) in these as I am slightly addicted to them and they are [...]

Tortillas

I feel like a genius. I think this may be the recipe that makes me fall in love with my tmx! Now I'm very slow on the bandwagon. People have been making Tortillas forever and all have their own recipe.  Today I thought I'd give them a whirl for dinner. With no Internet access I winged this recipe but they turned out really well. I won't be buying this ever again and I have so many variations running through my head that I want to try! These will be a regular here as they are relatively quick and easy. I really enjoyed making these too. I love watching the tortillas [...]
