Mini Peanut Butter Choc Chip Cookies
Thermomix Peanut Butter Choc Chip Cookies? Yes please. Mini version? OH YES! These cookies are a tweak on a recipe I used to make years ago and even have here on the blog (you can find it here). I have tweaked the recipe a little lately to make slightly healthier, mini versions with less sugar for the 3 year old. These are a staple in our kitchen at the moment. They are very decadent so go a long way. If you love peanut butter cups and all things peanut butter you will love these! If you make these Thermomix Peanut Butter Choc Chip Cookies please come and share a photo [...]
Mango Passionfruit Yoghurt Pops
I am not going to lie. I had a delicious recipe to share with you tonight buuuuuuut time got away from me and I didn't get a decent photo (well as decent as my photos get!) of it before the sun went down. Being Monday and "On Monday we blog" I couldn't let the day pass without a new recipe. So tonight I want to share one of my old times fave with you. These Mango Passionfruit Yoghurt Pops come from the very awesome (not bias at all *cough*) thermomixing mag The 4 Blades Magazine and come from The BBQ Issue Vol 2. If you haven't seen it before it's 100% [...]
Homemade Beetroot Wraps
Last week I released my brand new cookbook Mixing with Kids: Sneaky Veggies. I really wanted to share a recipe from the book with you all and ummed and ahhed about which one to share. The second I saw this one whilst scrolling through the pics I knew this was the one to share. If you have been following my blog for some time you will know I love homemade tortillas and wraps. My Spinach Wraps and my Tortillas are still two of the most popular recipes on my blog. SO good! Making wraps/tortillas yourself is so so easy and they taste so much better than store-bought. I am sure [...]
Cheesy Pesto Scrolls
I LOVE scrolls. When I first starting blogging I posted a recipe for scrolls which is still one of the most popular recipes on the blog. People love a good scroll. Whilst they take a bit of time and patience they are so worth it. You won't buy from a bakery again! For years we were very basic and repetitive with our scrolls. They were either cheese and vegemite or a pizza type scroll with tomato paste, herbs, capsicum, ham/bacon, pineapple and cheese (so delicious by the way). Lately I have been loving pesto anything! These pesto and cheese scrolls do not disappoint. If you haven't got time to make [...]
Festive Mars Bar Slice
I am a massive fan of Mars Bar Slice. It always reminds me of childhood. I think it was a staple at all kids parties in the 90s here in Australia. This is my super easy festive spin on it. My son took this batch to school today for the class party. Not healthy in the slightest but a massive hit! Note to self: Take a better photo of this one. If you make them please come and share a photo on our Facebook page or come and say in our Facebook group. I would LOVE to see them!
Gingerbread Pudding Biscuits
Well it wouldn't be Christmas without gingerbread and I realised I didn't have a gingerbread recipe on the blog. Eek! Time to fix that. I can't take credit for this idea. My mother in law suggested it to me and I got creating. The actual gingerbread recipe is based off of the one I wrote for The Christmas Issue of The 4 Blades Magazine with a few little changes over the years. I didn't realise how well gingerbread cookies and white chocolate went together. Oh my goodness - it is DELICIOUS! If you make them please come and share a photo on our Facebook page or come and say in our [...]
