Ok so it isnt rocket science but I’ll post anyway!

Freckles are so easy to make! I’m adding these to a Christmas hamper in a bag but they would make great cupcake or cake decorations too!

It’s as simple as melting some good quality cooking chocolate at 50 degrees, speed 3 until melted, glossy and smooth. Pour a very thin layer in a muffin tray and pour over sprinkles. Refrigerate.

Silicone muffin trays are best as its so easy to remove. I used metal without thinking but ran them over a flame on the stove for 5 secs and they released straight away. You could sit the tray in warm water alternatively. Just don’t wet the freckles!

    I made these on the weekend and put the chocolate onto a macaron mat. It held more than a muffin pan. Yummy.
